VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

VDI is a virtual temporary desktop that resides on the Trinity University network. Trinity offers a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (or VDI) service to everyone with TU Network credentials and Duo MFA. By logging into VDI, you can access a standard Trinity desktop from anywhere.

VDI gives you access to only available resources on campus (i.e., Colleague, network drives, etc.) and other general productivity software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.).

Step 1: In the web browser of your choice, go to  vdi.trinity.edu.

Step 2: Select VMWare Horizon HTML

Step 3: Log in using your TU Network credentials.

Step 4: In the “Next Code”

Step 4: Tap on it and it will take you to the Duo app asking for approval. Approve and the login will be complete. Please keep in mind that there is a very short time limit on responding to the request (~12 seconds), this is to ensure that you are close to your mobile device and are who you claim you are 😊
