Trinity maintains several network storage drives where users may store and access data. Restoring files is possible since backing up of these drives happens nightly.

Trinity Students, Faculty, and Staff.
Trinity-owned windows faculty and staff computers:
These will come with the network drives already mapped and available. Click the Start menu button and select Computer from the list to find the mapping to the network drives.
Trinity-owned Apple faculty and staff computers:
You will need to connect to these servers manually by clicking on Go in the Finder menu and selecting Connect to Server... from the dropdown.
Trinity students and employees using personal computers:
You must connect to these servers manually while connected to the Trinity network (or using VDI to access the Trinity network from off-campus). You can find instructions for mapping a Windows computer to a server here and connecting to a server using macOS here.
This drive contains software the university currently has licensed or shareware software.
Authorized Users: Trinity faculty & staff
Select S: as the drive letter, then enter \\its-harris\software as the server address
Server address: smb://its-harris. After clicking Connect, you must log in using your Trinity network credentials.
Each department has a folder on the V: drive, listed by its abbreviated department name. Access to information stored on the V: drive is limited to department members, except for the "Common" folder. If you wish to provide access to your department's "Common" folder with staff in another department, please send a request to ITS.
Authorized Users: Trinity faculty & staff
Select V: as the drive letter, and enter \\its-harris as the server address. Select Browse and click on its-harris to reveal a drop-down menu where you can select your department's
folder. Once the folder is selected, click OK, then Finish to map the drive.
Server address: smb://its-harris. After clicking Connect, you must log in using your Trinity network credentials. Once you have logged in, you can select your department's folder.
Faculty, academic staff, and students access the N: class drive on the Trinity network. Faculty who wish to share class information with students using the N: drive can request a folder with 100mb of storage space on the N: drive from ITS. Students have permission to view files but cannot modify or delete them on this drive.
Authorized Users: Trinity faculty & students (by request)
Select N: as the drive letter, then enter \\tucc-tiger\class\ProfessorsTUNetworkUsername as the server address.
When prompted for login credentials, select More choices and enter TRINITY\YourTUusername as the username followed by your network password.
Server address smb://tucc-tiger. After clicking Connect, you must log in using your Trinity network credentials. Select the class folder, then search for your professor's TU network
username to access their class folder.
The Y: drive is the personal "user" drive for students. Only ITS systems administrators and the account owner can access the private Y: drive. Each student has 1GB of available disk storage. Information saved on the Y: drive is backed up daily, but files stored on the Y: drive should be reviewed and cleaned out periodically.
Authorized Users: Trinity students
Select Y: as the drive letter, and enter \\tucc-tiger\users\YourTUusername as the server address.
When prompted for login credentials, select More choices and enter TRINITY\YourTUusername as the username followed by your network password.
Server address: smb://tucc-tiger/users/YourTUusername. After clicking Connect, you must log in using your Trinity network credentials.
The U: drive is the personal "user" drive for Trinity faculty and staff. Only ITS systems administrators and the account owner can access the private U: drive. Each faculty and staff member has 5GB of available disk storage; if more space is needed, request it via email. Information saved on the U: drive is backed up daily, but files stored on the U: drive need to be periodically reviewed, and old files deleted or archived to CD and stored in a secure location.

Select U: as the drive letter, and enter \\its-harris as the server address. Select Browse and click on its-harris to reveal a drop-down menu of folders on the server. Search home,
home2, and home3 for your username and click OK, then Finish to map the folder.
Server address: smb://its-harris. After clicking Connect, you must log in using your Trinity network credentials. Search home, home2, and home3 for your username and click OK, then
Finish to map the folder.
