TUSecure is the wifi network for Trinity students, faculty, and staff and requires TU Network credentials. It gives users access to all private Trinity network resources and provides wireless encryption.
Trinity faculty, staff, and students
Follow these instructions if you are connecting to TUSecure for the first time:
- Select the TUSecure wireless network.
- Enter the credentials that you would use to access TigerPAWS & TLearn
- If prompted, Trust or install the required certificates.
- The certificate should be named: ise-psn-01.ise.trinity.edu
Your device will connect to TUSecure. If not, manually choose TUSecure in your list of available networks.
Generic Wireless Configuration (iOS, Windows, etc.)
- SSID: TUSecure
- Encryption: WPA2-Enterprise
- EAP method: PEAP
- EAP Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2
- Domain: ise-psn-01.ise.trinity.edu
- Outer/Anonymous Identity: "anonymous."
- Identity: Your TU Network username
- Password: Your TU Network password
Instructions for Android users
Android OS comes in many different versions and capabilities, depending on your phone vendor. The latest version of Android security patches has changed specific login options that are not present on all devices. Chromebooks might ask for this information as well. Please carefully note the instructions below.
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: Use system certificates or Do not validate (this choice may not be available)
- Online Certificate Status: Do not validate (not required if Do not validate is selected above)
- Domain: ise-psn-01.ise.trinity.edu (not required if Do not validate is selected)
- Identity: Your TU Network username
- Anonymous identity: leave blank
- Password: Your TU Network password
TUGuest is for all campus visitors and those who do not yet have TU Network credentials. Guests can create temporary accounts which will allow them immediate access to the internet.
Trinity Visitor.
- Choose TUGuest from the available wireless networks on your computer or mobile device.
- Once connected, launch a browser window.
- Choose Create Login.
- Enter your email address and click Submit.
- Make a note of the password given to you. Your username will be the email address you entered. Click Ok when done.
- Sign in using your email address and the 4-character password provided in the previous step.
- A "Web Authentication" window will confirm your login was successful. You are now free to use the campus wifi network.
Note: Your guest's wifi account will remain active for 24 hours. If you need additional time, just create another guest account by repeating the above steps.
TUDevice is the wifi network for internet-capable tech devices (e.g., Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch or Wii, e-readers, Roku, Apple TV) that do not support TUSecure, which uses 802.1x authentication.
TUDevice automatically blocks devices it does not recognize. Students should self-register all devices requiring TUDevice to connect to wifi. Each student can register up to 10 devices.

Eduroam (education roaming) is an international roaming service for research, higher education, and further education users. It provides researchers, faculty, and students easy and secure network access when visiting an institution other than their home institution.
In addition to all Trinity Acceptable Use Policies, eduroam users must abide by the eduroam Acceptable Use Policy.
Trinity Students and Faculty.
Step1: Download the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool.
Step 2: Choose Trinity University as your home institution.
Step 3: Sign in with your TU Network credentials.
