Video Conferencing

webconferencing photoVideo conferencing integrates audio, video, and interactive collaboration tools such as screen-sharing to create a meeting experience in which globally dispersed participants feel as if they're in the same room. ITS has several options available to faculty and staff groups desiring remote conferencing services, including spaces designed to facilitate video conferencing.

Users

Trinity faculty and staff; others associated with Trinity (for a fee - see details below)

Getting Started

To request a video conference, please click on the Conference Request button to the right. We ask for at least one week's notice for video conferencing requests. Before submitting the request form to us, please go to T-SPACE to reserve a room for your conference.

We offer two venues for video conferencing in the ITS area on the first floor of the Coates Library: the primary video room (Video Conferencing EHCL 101Z) and the small conference room (Media Presentation EHCL 101Q). It is very important that you reserve the room through T-SPACE before submitting your request to us using the Video Conference Request form as the form does NOT guarantee or reserve the room space! You are responsible for making sure that the room is available during the time of the request and reserving it.

There is a field on the form requesting participant information. Please fill it out as completely as possible. For some type of video conferences, such as Skype, we like to set up end-to-end test calls ahead of time to minimize the likelihood of technical issues on the day of the call.
