2-Step Verification: T-Mail

Getting Started

To enable Google 2-Step Verification on your account, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click this link

Step 2: Click the blue "Get Started" button on the screen's bottom right-hand corner. 

Step 3: Sign in to your Tmail account (ending in @trinity.edu, not a personal account)

Step 4: Set how you would like to receive your 2-factor authentication, and select next. 

Step 5: Google will then send you an authorization code to type in, enter the code, and select next.

Step 6: If you enter the code correctly, you will get a notification letting you know that it worked; select turn on to complete the process 

Step 7: Once 2-factor authentication is turned on, you will be prompted to set up other authentication types; this is highly recommended but not required.
