Follow the steps below to set up MFA:
Part 1: Set up the Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA)
**You will only need to do this once unless you change devices
Step 1: Using your smartphone or tablet, visit either the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the DUO Mobile app (iOS example below).

Step 2: Open a web browser on your computer and go to dag.trinity.edu and enter your network credentials


Step 3: Follow the instructions on the screen. Our examples are for use with a mobile phone:



Step 4: Once you are at this step, please choose your security code preference. The “Ask me to choose…” option will always prompt you to either use a push notification or to send a text message, whereas the “Automatically send…” option will always send you a push notification via the Duo Mobile app installed on your smartphone.

Success: You have successfully installed Duo and are now ready to use it with VPN.
Part 2: Setting up MFA on the VPN
Step 1: Open your Cisco Anyconnect vpn client and connect to vpn.trinity.edu

Step 2: From the “Group’ drop-down menu select “TrinityVPN-DUO” then enter your network credentials and click”OK”

Step 3: On your mobile device you should get a notification like the one below:

Step 4: Tap on it and it will take you to the Duo app asking for approval. Approve and the login will be complete. Please keep in mind that there is a very short time limit on responding to the request (~12 seconds), this is to ensure that you are close to your mobile device and are who you claim you are 😊

Success: You have successfully set up MFA for VPN.
