M365 Login and Install Instructions

M365 Login

 Step 1: Navigate to Office.com on your favorite web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

 Step 2:  Select the orange Sign in button as shown to the left.

Step 3: After selecting Sign in, you will be taken to a new Sign in screen asking you for your email, phone or Skype. Here you will put your full Trinity email address. By utilizing your Trinity email address you will gain access to the full licensing the Trinity has available to you.

 Step 4: Next, you will be asked to enter a password. This is the same password you would use to access Zoom, TigerPAWS, or TLearn. This is not your Tmail password.

**If you have used Microsoft 365 (Office 365) in the past, you will no longer log in with the password you originally setup. You will log in using your Trinity email address and password as mentioned above.

 

Step 5: After entering your password, you will be taken to the Microsoft 365 homepage, also known as Office 365.

Step 6: From this homepage, you will be able to utilize the entire Microsoft 365 Suite online, as well as install or update your Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. For tutorials, helpful tips and tricks, and more, check out Microsoft 365 on the ITS Service Catalog. 

Installation

Step 1: To download the suite, they’ll need to click on the Install Office button in the top right corner of their profile page.

Step 2: They’ll be prompted to run the installer that downloaded after selecting M365 apps from the Install Office drop-down menu

Step 3: Once the installation has been completed, the user will be prompted to sign in to their M365 account, which again will consist of their TMail address followed by their network password.
