The Faculty & Contract Staff Handbook states that full-time faculty and staff who retire from Trinity may choose to retain certain benefits, including continuing access to library databases (and Tmail accounts for faculty).

Library E-Resources Procedure

  1. Call the ITS HelpDesk at (210) 999-7409 if you wish to request continuing access to digital library resources.
     
  2. HelpDesk staff will verify your identity through a series of questions and attempt to locate your deactivated TU Network account credentials.
     
    • If your account is found, HelpDesk staff will re-activate your TU Network account and reset your password.
       
    • If your account is not found, you will need to call the Human Resources office at (210) 999-7507 to verify your eligibility for this benefit. HR will contact ITS to confirm eligibility and we will then be able to create your TU Network account and call you back when the account is ready for password setup.
       
  3. Attempt to log into library resources by using your original TU Network account username and your new password. Please contact the ITS HelpDesk again if you encounter any issues when accessing resources from off-campus.
