Award Line
|
|
Contains business rules for collecting costs, calculating F&A, billing sponsors, and reporting. An Award must have at least one Award Line, and each Award Line must be associated with a unique Grant.

Budget Check
|
|
Step in the business process where the budget balance is reviewed and the transaction can be stopped.

Error
|
|
Errors display in red and note the number of identified errors. You cannot complete a task until you correct all errors.

Fund
|
|
An independent fiscal and accounting entity with a self-balancing set of accounts. Funds are classified into groups for reporting and accounting treatment, such as Operating, Non-Operating, Restricted and Unrestricted.

Inbox
|
|
To-do’s or task action items in a business process that require a follow-up step appear in user's Workday inbox. When a user receives an action in their inbox, the user needs to do something, for example reviews or approves.

|
|
First step of a business process, only visible to those who can begin a process.

Revenue Category
|
Object Code (4XXXX)
|
When a sales item is initiated, it is assigned to a revenue category. This classification in customer contracts and billing provides a logical grouping to search and include in reports.

Rescind (business process)
|
|
An action you can take on a business process to completely reverse all changes made to Workday data in a completed business process. A task must be "Successfully Completed" to perform this action.

As a Grant Manager and/or Principal Investigator, you can use the report documented here to view a list of Grants assigned to you.

After logging into Workday, enter Extract Grants into the Search bar and select that Report from the results.

The report will populate automatically with those Grants that you are Grant Manager and/or Principal Investigator for.

Any information in a cell on this report that is blue is a link, meaning you can click it to get additional information about that particular value.

Scroll to the right in the report to access additional fields, including amounts as well as associated Cost Center.

If you wish to export this report into Excel, click the Export to Excel button at the top right corner of the report grid.
